China Cotton Association: Textile output fell month-on-month in January
According to the cotton textile enterprise survey report (January 2023) released by the China Cotton Association, the market is expected to be good this month, but it coincides with the Spring Festival, and most textile enterprises have a holiday of 3-7 days. overall a slight decline. Cloth output decreased by 12.7% month-on-month and 8.8% year-on-year, of which: the proportion of pure cotton cloth decreased by 0.4 percentage points compared with the previous month. The yarn sales rate was 72%, down 2 percentage points from the previous month. The current yarn inventory of textile enterprises is 17.82 days, an increase of 0.34 days from the previous month. The gray cloth inventory was 33.99 days, an increase of 0.46 days from the previous month.
