According to the fiber raw materials of fabrics: natural fiber fabrics and chemical fiber fabrics. Natural fiber fabrics include cotton fabrics, hemp fabrics, wool fabrics, silk fabrics, etc.; chemical fibers include artificial fibers and synthetic fibers, so chemical fiber fabrics include artificial fiber fabrics and synthetic fiber fabrics, and artificial fiber fabrics include the well-known artificial cotton (viscose). Glue fabric), rayon fabric and viscose blended fabric, etc. Synthetic fabrics include polyester fabrics, acrylic fabrics, nylon fabrics, spandex elastic fabrics, etc. Several common fabrics are introduced below.
natural fiber fabric
1. Cotton fabric: refers to the fabric with cotton as the main raw material. Because of its good air permeability, good hygroscopicity and comfortable wearing, it is widely welcomed by people.
2. Hemp fabric: a fabric woven with hemp fiber as the main raw material. Linen fabric is characterized by hard and tough texture, rough and stiff, cool and comfortable, and good hygroscopicity. It is an ideal summer clothing fabric.
3. Wool fabric: It is a fabric made of wool, rabbit hair, camel hair, and wool-type chemical fiber as the main raw materials. Generally, wool is the main material. It is generally used as high-end clothing fabrics in winter. It has the advantages of wear resistance, strong warmth retention, comfortable and beautiful appearance, pure color and so on.
4. Silk fabric: it is a high-grade variety in textiles. It mainly refers to fabrics made of mulberry silk and tussah silk as the main raw materials. It has the advantages of thinness, softness, smoothness, elegance, gorgeousness and comfort.
chemical fiber fabric
1. Artificial cotton (viscose fabric): the surface of the cloth has soft luster, soft touch, good moisture absorption and air permeability, but poor elasticity and poor wrinkle resistance.
2. Artificial silk fabric: the silk surface is bright but not soft, bright in color, smooth to the touch, soft and has a strong drape, but it is not as light and elegant as real silk.
3. Polyester fabric: It has high strength and elastic recovery ability. Strong and durable, no ironing, easy to wash and quick dry. However, the hygroscopicity is poor, and it is stuffy to wear, and it is easy to generate static electricity and absorb dust.
4. Acrylic fabric: Known as "artificial wool", it has bright color, good wrinkle resistance and warmth retention, and has light resistance and heat resistance.
5. Nylon fabric: Nylon has good strength and wear resistance, ranking first among all fibers; nylon fabric has excellent elasticity and elastic recovery, but it is easy to deform under small external force, so its fabric is easy to wrinkle during wearing; Poor ventilation and air permeability, easy to generate static electricity; its hygroscopicity is a better variety among synthetic fibers, so clothing made of nylon is more comfortable to wear than polyester clothing.
6. Spandex elastic fabric: Spandex is a polyurethane fiber with excellent elasticity. General products don't use 100% polyurethane, but mix about 5% in the fabric to improve the elasticity of the fabric, which is suitable for tights.
